  • 600grams cherry pie filling
  • 1teaspoons almond extract
  • 220grams cream cheese, cubed
  • 440grams vanilla cake mix
  • 185grams salted butter, melted
  • 2tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 100grams sliced almonds

Description

If you love a warm cherry pie, you would absolutely love this dump and bake cake.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Lightly grease a baking pan. Mix cherry pie filling and almond extract.

Step 2 of 3

Evenly distribute the cream cheese cubes, sliced almonds and dry cake mix over the cherry filling. Pour melted butter over top and distribute evenly.

Step 3 of 3

Bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until light golden brown, mostly dry on top and bubbly around edges. Cool for 15 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
