  • 100grams Camembert cheese (in a lidded box)
  • 6 walnut halves, roughly chopped
  • 2tablespoons thyme (to garnish)
  • 2tablespoons runny honey
  • 8 slices crusty bread (to serve)
  • 250grams carrot sticks (to serve)
  • 300grams celery sticks (to serve)

Method

Step 1 of 4

Remove the cheese from its box and discard any paper or plastic wrapping. Slice off the top rind and replace the cheese in its box.

Step 2 of 4

Sprinkle the surface of the cheese with the walnuts and thyme, and drizzle with the honey.

Step 3 of 4

Replace the lid and place the box in the centre of a preheated oven, 220°C, Gas Mark 7, for 5-10 minutes. Depending on the ripeness of the cheese, it should be nicely runny inside when cooked.

Step 4 of 4

Garnish with thyme sprigs and serve warm with crusty bread and vegetable crudités.
