  • 2 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 1teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1-2 chillies
  • 6 slice fresh ginger
  • 1 lemongrass stem, bruised
  • 4 spring onions, sliced
  • 2 star anise
  • 2 cup homemade chicken stock
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup shao hsing (Chinese cooking wine)

Method

Step 1 of 1

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes. Allow to cool. Strain, discarding solids, into a bowl.
