  • 200grams fully loaded hazelnut cream filled cookies
  • 2/3 cup thickened cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2tablespoons icing sugar mixture
  • 250grams strawberries, hulled (thinly sliced into heart shapes)
  • 1/4 cup instant drinking chocolate powder
  • 125grams Italian-style mascarpone

Method

Step 1 of 3

Pour milk into cookie tray and stand for 1 minute or until biscuits soften. Drain.

Step 2 of 3

Place mascarpone, cream, icing sugar and vanilla in the bowl of a stand mixer and whisk until soft peaks form.

Step 3 of 3

To assemble, dollop a little cream mixture into 2 dessert glasses or wide-mouth jars. Top with a cookie and another dollop of cream mixture, spreading evenly with the back of a spoon. Using a sieve, sift over some chocolate powder, then add a layer of strawberries. Repeat to make two more layers, finishing with a layer of strawberries. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
