  • 1 1/3 cups Sunrice medium grain white calrose rice
  • 500grams Woolworths RSPCA approved chicken breast fillets, cut into 2.5cm pieces
  • 1tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 220grams Chicken Tonight Louisiana style BBQ chicken skewers cooking sauce
  • 340grams Woolworths buffalo style salad kit
  • 1/4 bunch coriander, leaves picked (to serve)

Description

Cook yourself up an easy Southern-style dinner in just 20 minutes. The whole family is bound to love these saucy, flavour-packed chicken skewers.

Method

Step 1 of 4

Cook rice according to packet instructions, following the absorption method.

Step 2 of 4

Meanwhile, thread chicken onto 8 small metal skewers.

Step 3 of 4

Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook skewers for 6 minutes, turning occasionally, or until golden and almost cooked through. Add sauce and reduce heat to medium-low. Cook for 2 minutes, turning, or until chicken is cooked through and sauce is hot

Step 4 of 4

Meanwhile, prepare salad according to packet instructions. Divide rice and salad among plates. Top with skewers and serve sprinkled with coriander.
