  • 500grams gnocchi
  • 2tablespoons Woolworths extra virgin olive oil
  • 500grams Woolworths Italian style fennel pork sausages
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen peas
  • 1 lemon, zested
  • 1/3 cup basil pesto
  • 60grams parmesan, finely grated
  • 290grams Woolworths Italian style salad kit

Description

Method

Step 1 of 3

Cook gnocchi according to packet instructions. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup cooking liquid.

Step 2 of 3

Meanwhile, heat oil in a large, deep frying pan over medium-high heat. Remove sausage from casings. Break into small pieces and add to pan. Cook, stirring, for 5 minutes or until golden and cooked through. Add peas, zest, pasta, reserved cooking liquid, pesto and two-thirds of the parmesan, then cook for 2 minutes or until heated through and combined.

Meanwhile, prepare salad according to packet instructions. Serve gnocchi with salad and topped with remaining parmesan.
