- 1/2 cup salt-reduced soy sauce
- 1 1/2tablespoons brown sugar
- 1tablespoons cornflour
- 375grams sliced mushrooms
- 4centimeters ginger, peeled, finely grated
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 450grams frozen broccoli florets
- 1/2 bunch spring onion, thinly sliced
- 2tablespoons vegetable oil
Description
Mushies, broccoli and spring onions make for a tasty stir-fry special, paired with a sweet-salty ginger-soy sauce and warm white rice.
Method
Step 1 of 4
Combine soy, sugar, cornflour and 1/3 cup water in a small jug.
Step 2 of 4
Heat oil in a wok or large frying pan over high heat. Stir-fry mushroom, ginger and garlic for 5 minutes or until mushroom is tender. Season with pepper.
Step 3 of 4
Add soy mixture to pan. Stir-fry for 2 minutes or until sauce thickens.
Step 4 of 4
Heat rice and cook broccoli according to packet instructions. Divide rice, mushroom mixture and broccoli among bowls. Scatter over onion to serve.
