- 375grams dark 45% cooking chocolate
- 470grams Woolworths unsalted butter
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 1 cup plain flour
- 1/2teaspoons bicarbonate of soda
- 1 cup Woolworths cocoa powder
- 2 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
- 5 eggs
- 1 1/4 cups Woolworths milk
- 400grams vanilla frosting
Description

Method
Step 1 of 3
Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Line a 6cm-deep, 23x33cm (base) roasting pan with baking paper, extending 3cm above edges on all sides. Place chocolate and butter in a medium saucepan over low heat. Stir for 5 minutes or until melted and smooth. Cool.
Step 2 of 3
Sift flours, bicarbonate of soda and cocoa in a large bowl. Stir in sugar. In a separate jug, whisk together eggs and milk until combined. Add egg mixture and chocolate mixture to flour mixture and stir until just combined. Pour into the prepared pan.
Step 3 of 3
Bake for 1 hour 10 minutes or until a skewer inserted at centre comes out clean. Stand cake in pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Combine frostings in a large bowl. Swirl frosting over top of cooled cake. Cut into pieces. Serve.
