  • 7 bananas
  • 2/3 cup Woolworths vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2teaspoons Woolworths vanilla extract
  • 1 2/3 cup self-raising flour, sifted
  • 1 1/2teaspoons Woolworths ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup caramel sauce

Who doesn't love banoffee? Indulge your own sweet tooth or impress loved ones with this irresistible crowd favourite.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Preheat oven to 190°C/170°C fan-forced. Grease and line a 5cm-deep, 20.5x26cm pan with baking paper. Mash 5 bananas in a large bowl. Add oil, eggs, sugar and vanilla. Sift over flour and cinnamon. Stir to combine.

Step 2 of 3

Pour mixture into prepared pan. Cut remaining bananas in half lengthways. Arrange cut banana on top of batter. Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a skewer inserted at centre comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes.

Step 3 of 3

Top pudding with caramel sauce. Serve.
