  • 2 sheet frozen puff pastry, partially thawed
  • 2teaspoons white sugar
  • 1/2teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2tablespoons honey
  • 400grams apples, sliced
  • 8 scoops ice cream (to serve)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup sultanas

Method

Step 1 of 3

Preheat oven to 180°C.

Step 2 of 3

Combine apple, sultanas, walnuts, honey and cinnamon in a bowl. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.

Step 3 of 3

Cut each pastry sheet into 4 squares. Place 2 tbs of apple mixture into the centre of each piece. Fold in half and press edges together with a fork to seal. Place onto prepared trays. Brush with egg wash, sprinkle with sugar and make 3 slashes in the top. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden and cooked through. Serve with ice-cream.
