Tim and Julie Bale have raised 3 daughters on their dairy farm at Stewarts River and now spread around the world, the girls are proud to have grown up in regional Australia on a farm.

According to Tim’s mother, he always wanted to be a dairy farmer from the age of 3. Attending Hawkesbury Agricultural College and after 15 years with NSW Agriculture as a Dairy Livestock Officer, the goal finally became a reality putting every cent into “Tijulmist” and starting with minimal machinery and only 50 cows.

Now nearly 20 years on with a new dairy extra land and extra helpers we milk 280 cows and produce 2.3 million litres annually on 400 acres. Being heavily involved in the dairy Industry for over 30 years it is important to be good at what we do and be proud of the product we produce.

We strongly believe in the family farm concept and produce high quality milk, mainly from rain fed pasture and well fed healthy cows. To supply Woolworths with “Farmers Own” is a culmination of all those years striving to be just that little bit better than the rest.

The Woolworths customers can purchase and drink Farms Own milk knowing that we drink it at home and raised our children on it knowing it was clean, healthy and a natural food. We proudly produce “Farmers Own” milk and back it with our farms, our families and our reputation.
