  • 300grams mixed mushrooms, washed, drained and chopped
  • 1 small white onion, peeled and diced
  • 30grams oats
  • 40grams mixed seeds
  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled and mashed
  • 1teaspoons soy sauce
  • 2tablespoons canola oil
  • 4 medium sourdough buns, sliced in half
  • 4tablespoons chutney
  • 80grams rocket, washed and drained

Description

Delicious vegan burgers that are moist in texture.

Method

Step 1 of 6

Heat up a pan to a medium heat and then add 1 tsp of oil.

Step 2 of 6

Fry the mushrooms, garlic and onion for 4 minutes and then remove from the heat.

Step 3 of 6

Place the fried vegetables into a blender with the oats and seeds. Blend until smooth.

Step 4 of 6

Now separate the mixture into 4 patties and pack tightly.

Step 5 of 6

Add the rest of the oil to the pan and fry the burgers for 10 minutes, flip and cook for another 10 minutes.

Step 6 of 6

Toast the buns for 3 minutes and serve with the burgers, chutney and rocket.
