- 1 red onion, cut halfways along the centre, cut one half into rings
- 1tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 500grams Woolworths lean beef mince
- 1/3 cup tomato sauce
- 1/3 cup hickory & brown sugar barbecue sauce
- 1tablespoons American mustard
- 6 gherkins
- 200milliliter sour cream
- 1/4 cup Woolworths secret burger sauce
- 450grams crusty cob loaf
- 5milliliter extra virgin olive oil cooking spray
- 2/3 cup shredded tasty cheese
- 30grams baby rocket
- 320grams Mix-a-Mato® tomatoes
- 250grams Qukes® baby cucumbers, quartered

Description
Whether you're hosting a cosy night in with family or entertaining a crowd, this creative cob loaf dip and its delicious flavour combinations will hit the spot.
Method
Step 1 of 5
Finely chop remaining onion. Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add chopped onion and garlic. Cook for 2 minutes. Add mince. Cook, breaking up lumps, for 8 minutes or until browned. Add tomato and barbecue sauces and mustard. Finely chop half of the gherkins. Add gherkins to mince. Bring to the boil. Reduce heat to low. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes or until thickened.

Meanwhile, place sour cream in a bowl. Add burger sauce and stir to combine.

Preheat oven to 190°C/170°C fan-forced. Cut 2cm off the top of cob. Leaving a 5mm border, remove soft bread from centre of cob. Place cob on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Spray with oil. Cut soft bread and cob lid into large pieces. Arrange chopped bread on a second baking tray lined with baking paper. Spray with oil. Season.

Spoon half of the mince mixture into cob evenly. Spoon half of the sour cream mixture over mince mixture evenly. Sprinkle with half of the cheese. Repeat with remaining mince mixture, sour cream mixture and cheese. Bake for 25 minutes or until hot and bubbling. Stand for 5 minutes.
Step 5 of 5
Thinly slice the remaining gherkins. Top cob with onion, gherkins, a little rocket and a few halved tomatoes. Serve with toasted bread, cucumber and remaining rocket and tomatoes.
