- 2 cup plain flour
- 250grams butter, chopped
- 4 apples
- 125grams blueberries
- 2teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds

Method
Step 1 of 4
Preheat oven to 180°C. Line base of a 20cm spring-form tin with baking paper.
Step 2 of 4
Place flour, sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon into a food processor. Process until combined. Add butter and process until crumbed. Transfer 1 cup of mixture to a small bowl and reserve. Press the remainder evenly over base and 3cm up side of tin. Chill while preparing filling.
Step 3 of 4
Peel, core and finely slice apples straight into a bowl, adding lemon juice in intervals to prevent browning. Add remaining cinnamon and blueberries and stir well to combine.
Step 4 of 4
Layer apple and blueberries into the pie crust, pressing down firmly. Crumble reserved dough mixture with almonds. Scatter dough mixture over the top of the filling. Place onto a large baking tray and bake pie for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until golden brown and apple is tender. Cool in tin. Serve.
