    • caster sugar

    Method

    Step 1 of 5

    Make a sugar syup by combining 1 part sugar to 1 part water.

    Step 2 of 5

    Simmer gently until sugar dissolved and allow to cool.

    Step 3 of 5

    Combine 10ml of sugar syrup and the bitters and whisky in the serving glass.

    Step 4 of 5

    Top with ice.

    Step 5 of 5

    Garnish with an orange twist.
