- 500grams Woolworths dried spaghetti
- 2tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2/3 cup Woolworths lemon & herb panko breadcrumbs
- 1 brown onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 800grams canned cherry tomatoes
- 2 cubes vegetable stock cubes
- 420grams no-added-salt lentils, drained, rinsed
- 1 bunch basil, leaves picked
Description

Method
Step 1 of 4
Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil. Cook pasta for 8 minutes or until tender. Drain pasta, reserving cup cooking liquid.
Step 2 of 4
Heat 1 tbs oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add breadcrumbs and cook for 5 minutes or until golden. Transfer to a bowl.

Add remaining oil to the pan. Add onion and garlic, and cook for 2 minutes or until softened. Stir in tomato and crumble in stock cubes. Bring to a simmer. Simmer for 5 minutes or until sauce has reduced slightly. Add pasta, lentils and reserved cooking liquid. Toss to combine.
Step 4 of 4
To serve, divide pasta among bowls. Top with breadcrumbs and basil.
