Description
Learn how to make sweet and fudgy white chocolate and macadamia blondies dotted with salty pretzels. Serve with strawberries and cream and enjoy.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Grease a 20cm (6cm deep) square cake pan and line base and sides with baking paper, extending paper 2cm above sides.
Step 2 of 3
Place butter, choc melts and sugar in a large saucepan. Stir over low heat for 5 minutes or until mixture has melted and is smooth. Remove pan from heat and set aside for 10 minutes to cool. (Note that the mixture may split at this stage, but will come together in the next step.)
Step 3 of 3
Add egg, flour, choc bits, pretzels and macadamias to saucepan and stir until combined. Spoon mixture into cake pan and smooth top. Bake for 30 minutes or until top is light golden and just firm to touch. Cool in pan for 30 minutes, then cut into squares. Serve with strawberries and cream.
