Description
This comforting cabbage and white bean stew is a warming and rustic accompaniment for fish or meat dishes.
Method
Step 1 of 2
Heat the butter in a large, deep pan on medium heat and cook the rashers for 2 minutes. Add the onion, carrot and celery and cook for 8-10 minutes.
Step 2 of 2
Stir in the cabbage and thyme and cook for 3-4 minutes. Pour over the wine and simmer for 2 minutes, add the stock and butter beans and simmer for 10 minutes.
