    1. What is Woolworths' Specials Raincheck offer?

      At Woolworths, we will offer a Specials Raincheck Voucher to customers if a product is advertised on a Yellow Ticket Promotion but is out of stock when the customer wishes to make their purchase.

      With this Voucher, a customer can return to any Woolworths Supermarket or Woolworths Metro Store and purchase the specified product at the price that was offered on the Yellow Ticket Promotion when the item was out of stock.

      Raincheck Vouchers are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Vouchers are not available nor redeemable online. Vouchers do not extend to any other offers. Some exclusions and terms and conditions apply (see below).

      To request this Voucher, customers can visit any Woolworths Supermarket or Metro store and ask one of our friendly team members for assistance.

    2. What products can I request a Raincheck Voucher for?

      A Raincheck Voucher can be requested for in store purchases of products on Yellow Ticket Promotions. Yellow Ticket Promotions are Specials, Fresh Specials and Multi-buys (including "Buy More Save More" and "Mix and Save"). These are typically advertised in catalogue, press, radio, or television formats, and also via Yellow Special Tickets in stores.

      Raincheck Vouchers apply only to the product/s specified in the voucher. We note some product limits may apply and the range of products varies across Woolworths' stores so a product you are wanting to purchase in one store may not always be available in another store. Some exclusions and terms and conditions apply (see below).

    3. How do I redeem my Raincheck Voucher?

      Customers can redeem a Raincheck Voucher in person at any Woolworths Supermarket or Woolworths Metro Stores. This is provided that stock is available for the specified product, the voucher is redeemed within 30 days, and no exclusion applies (see below).

      All vouchers are single time redemption only and will be destroyed by the team member upon redemption.

      If the price of the product is now lower than the price issued on the Raincheck Voucher, our systems will apply the lowest price.

      You will not be able to redeem the Voucher for a product that is not the same as the product/s specified in the Voucher. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for any online purchases using the Woolworths Online website or Woolworths app.

    4. What exclusions apply?

      Rain check vouchers cannot be issued for the following circumstances:

      • Online purchases.
      • Products or promotions marked with 'no rainchecks'.
      • Offers and promotions that are not Yellow Ticket Promotions, including Clearance/Reduced to Clear, Member Price and red ticket offers such as Everyday Low Price and Lower Seasonal Price.
      • Any products part of seasonal lines, for example Christmas, Easter, Mothers Day, Fathers Day and Halloween.
      • Non-standard product buys.
      • Any Gift Cards, Mobile Phones and accessories, Telco or Tobacco Products.

    5. What happens to my Everyday Rewards points if I use a Raincheck Voucher?

      There is no change to how you can earn or redeem your Everyday Rewards points. If you scan your Everyday Rewards card at the time of redeeming your Raincheck Voucher you will collect 1 standard Everyday Rewards point per dollar spent on that product(s), subject to exclusions. Any additional points that you may collect on that product will be based on any points booster offer available to you at the time of purchase, and not any Everyday Rewards offer that was available when the Raincheck Voucher was issued.
