  • 1 whole cauliflower
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cup wholemeal flour
  • 1tablespoons baking powder
  • 60grams melted butter
  • 2tablespoons italian mixed herbs
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 sprinkle fresh herbs (such as coriander and parsley)

Description

Hi bread-lovers, I would like to share with you my easy recipe to make a healthy homemade bread with in-season cauliflower - for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Instruction tip
Add a spoonful of parmesan cheese or garlic butter for more flavor.

Method

Step 1 of 6

Let it cool down. Then squeeze out the excess water in a mash/muslin cloth and put aside.

Step 2 of 6

Separate the egg whites and yolks into different bowls. Whisk the egg whites until they become fluffy like meringue. Set aside.

Step 3 of 6

Beat the egg yolks, and then add the wholemeal flour, baking powder, melted butter, Italian mixed herbs, cauliflower, salt and the whisked egg white bit by bit. Mix well.

Step 4 of 6

Once done, pour the mixture into a lined and buttered baking pan. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and fresh herbs (e.g. coriander and parsley) and on top.

Step 5 of 6

Bake at 180°C fan-forced for 45 minute until brown. Test with a toothpick. Remove and let cool down before taking it out of the pan.

Step 6 of 6

Chop the cauliflower into medium size pieces. Grate the pieces in a food processor. Heat the grated cauliflower in a microwave for 4 minute.
