    Together we helped raise over $3,850,000 which will help OzHarvest to provide an additional 7,700,000 meals to people in need across all States and Territories of Australia.

    OzHarvest collects surplus fresh food donated directly from hundreds of our Woolworths stores across the nation and distributes this food, free of charge, to over 1,500 charities across the nation.

    Every 50 cents that you donated to our 10th Annual Christmas Appeal supports OzHarvest to deliver the equivalent of one nutritious meal from our surplus fresh food, and Woolworths matched donations doubled that capacity.

    These funds support the cost of drivers, vans, warehouses, fridges, freezers and more. All helping to ensure that as much fresh, healthy surplus food can get to as many Australians in need of food relief as possible.

    How every 50 cent donation that you make is helping to provide a meal

    All of the food that Woolworths donates to OzHarvest is distributed, directly and free of charge to their network of national charities , but it is the infrastructure cost of the drivers, the vans, the insurance, the warehouses and the refrigeration that combined, equates to 50 cents per meal for this distribution.     100% of your donation is given directly to OzHarvest.

    Any donations of over $2.00 are Tax Deductible to you, the donor.

    *Woolworths is authorised to fundraise on behalf of OzHarvest. From 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2026. 10c from the sale of Woolworths Hi-Fibre Bread range sold at Woolworths supermarkets will be donated to OzHarvest, with the remainder of the purchase price being received by Woolworths. Every 50c that is donated allows OzHarvest to deliver a meal to someone in need.
