Woolworths is committed to investing in Australian agriculture and we support a number of scholarship programs and events throughout the year.
Royal Agricultural Shows
Woolworths is proud to be a long standing sponsor of the major agricultural shows in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. Woolworths is pleased to welcome these shows back as they resume in 2021. These events bring the country to the city and through competitions and events celebrate the best of Australian agriculture and provide an insight into where our food comes from.
Agricultural Scholarships
Nuffield Australia Farming Scholarship
This scholarship program offers recipients the ability to undertake in-depth research in their area of interest and study farming practices internationally. This research is then shared publicly and with industry with a view to sharing this expertise and supporting development in that sector.

Australian Rural Leadership Program
ARLP is a personal growth and development program and Woolworths has funded scholars since 2008. ARLF scholars are offered a broad range of development opportunities to provide them with exposure to the various facets of their industry, setting them up as future leaders in their industry.
