  • 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1tablespoons chopped capers
  • 1/2 punnet dill, chopped
  • 2 spring onions, sliced
  • 285grams John West Tuna in Olive Oil, drained, flaked
  • 1/2 cup shredded tasty cheese
  • 30grams baby spinach leaves
  • 8 slices sourdough bread

Description

The perfect comfort food, this tuna toastie combines the savoury flavours of tuna, spinach and melted cheese for a quick and easy meal.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Cut lemon in half. Zest and juice half of the lemon, then cut remaining half into wedges.

Step 2 of 3

Combine zest, juice, mayonnaise, capers, dill, onion and tuna.

Step 3 of 3

Heat a sandwich press. Divide cheese, spinach and tuna salad mix between 4 slices bread. Top with remaining bread. Cook in press, in batches, for 5 minutes or until golden and cheese is melted. Serve.
