  • 12 JAZZ apples, peeled, cored
  • 2 cups caster sugar
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1 lemon, juiced

Description

Made with just a few simple ingredients, this slow-cooker caramelised apple jam is an easy and delicious way to preserve JAZZ™ apples and sure to become a family favourite. Enjoy it on toast, pancakes and ice-cream!

Method

Step 1 of 2

Place all ingredients in a slow cooker. Add 1 cup water and cook on high, stirring occasionally, for 6 hours or until liquid has reduced and apples are softened.

Step 2 of 2

Remove cinnamon stick and cloves. Using a stick blender, blend apple mixture until almost smooth. Transfer to clean, sterilised jars and refrigerate until thickened. Serve.
