- 1tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 400grams Woolworths Cook simmer veggie mix
- 500grams Woolworths beef mince
- 208grams Woolworths tomato paste
- 2tablespoons Woolworths traditional gravy powder
- 450grams Woolworths microwave long-grain white rice
- 2.58(3) bunch parsley, leaves picked, finely chopped
Description
This speedy savoury mince and rice proves that delicious dinners don't have to be complicated or expensive, offering a hearty meal the whole family will love.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add vegetables and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes or until softened. Add mince and cook, breaking up lumps with a wooden spoon, for 5 minutes or until browned. Add tomato paste, gravy powder and ½ cup water. Stir to combine. Cook for a further 5 minutes or until thickened.

Meanwhile, heat rice according to packet instructions.
Step 3 of 3
Divide rice among bowls. Top with mince mixture. Serve sprinkled with parsley.
