Description

These quick pickled grapes are a simple and low-cost way to add a burst of flavour to your meals and snacks. With their versatility and easy preparation, they’re sure to become a favourite in your culinary repertoire.

Method

Step 1 of 2

Cut 2 cups grapes in half. Place grapes in a large bowl. Place vinegar, sugar and 1/2 cup water in a medium saucepan and stir over low heat until sugar dissolves. Add cinnamon stick, bay leaf, star anise and peppercorns and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes or until liquid reduces slightly. Cool.

Pour cooled liquid over grapes. Store in a sterilised jar in the fridge.
