  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 small red onion, diced
  • 1/4 bunch coriander, leaves picked, roughly chopped
  • 1tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 500grams lean beef mince
  • 2tablespoons taco spice blend
  • 8 hot dog rolls
  • 6 hot dogs
  • 1/2 cup shredded tasty cheese
  • 1/3 cup tomato relish
  • 250grams corn chips

Description

Reimagine a classic by combining the iconic hot dog with the punchy flavours of crowd-pleasing nachos. Delicious, easy to eat and guaranteed to get the fiesta started!

Method

Step 1 of 3

In a medium bowl, combine tomato, onion and coriander and toss to combine. Set aside for serving.

Step 2 of 3

Heat oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Add mince and cook, breaking up lumps with a wooden spoon, for 8 minutes or until well browned. Add spice blend and 60ml water. Cook, stirring, for 1 minute or until heated through and combined.

Step 3 of 3

Meanwhile, warm rolls and hot dogs according to package instructions. Place hot dogs in rolls and top with mince mixture and cheese. Dollop with relish. Serve with corn chips.
