  • 4 Woolworths fruitless hot cross buns
  • 25grams unsalted butter, melted
  • 200grams Woolworths white chocolate, broken into pieces
  • 2tablespoons 100s & 1000s sprinkles
  • 125grams strawberries, halved
  • 50grams chocolate cream wafer sticks
  • 50grams petite mini meringues
  • 30grams Woolworths mini wafers
  • 50grams pretzels

Description

Dip your fruitless hot cross buns in sprinkles and top with indulgent treats for an easy Easter dessert that will wow.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Preheat oven to 200°C/180°C fan-forced and line a baking tray with baking paper. Brush tops of buns with butter. Use a 3cm-round cutter or a small sharp knife to remove a circle from the centre of the buns, being careful not to cut all the way through. Bake buns for 5 minutes or until lightly toasted.

Meanwhile, place chocolate in a medium microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high for 1 minute, stirring every 30 seconds, or until melted.

Step 3 of 3

Place buns on a serving platter. Carefully spoon melted chocolate into cavities. Top with sprinkles. Serve with strawberries, wafer sticks, meringues, mini wafers and pretzels.
