- 1 egg, free range
- 100grams plain flour, sifted
- 4tablespoons olive oil
- 1tablespoons oregano, chopped
- 1teaspoons cracked black pepper
- 1 medium lemon, sliced into wedges

Description
A Greek inspired dish that is crumbly, salty and melts in your mouth.
Method
Step 1 of 7
In a bowl, crack the egg and lightly beat.
Step 2 of 7
In a separate bowl, combine the flour with the pepper and oregano.
Step 3 of 7
Heat up a pan to a medium heat and add the oil.
Step 4 of 7
Place the sliced feta into the beaten egg and cover fully.
Step 5 of 7
Remove from the egg and now cover fully in the herbed flour.
Step 6 of 7
Fry the battered feta on the pan for 2 minutes on each side and then remove and place on a plate with kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
Step 7 of 7
Serve the fried feta with wedges of lemon on the side.
