  • 500grams diced beef
  • 40grams McCormick Slow Cooker Beef & Red Wine Casserole Recipe Base
  • 400grams canned Annalisa Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 crusty baguette
  • 250grams Woolworths frozen peas
  • 1/4 cup parsley, finely chopped

Description

This slow-cooked beef and red wine casserole has you covered, simmering succulent flavours for a low-cost, hearty meal.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Heat oil in a medium frying pan over high heat. Cook beef for 5 minutes or until browned.

Step 2 of 3

Transfer beef to a slow cooker. Stir in recipe base, tomato and ⅓ cup boiling water. Cook on high for 1 hour or until mixture has thickened.

Step 3 of 3

Stir peas into beef mixture until heated through. Remove from heat. Sprinkle over parsley and serve with torn bread.
