- 400grams spaghetti
- 1tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 400grams Woolworths beef & lamb meatballs
- 800grams canned Woolworths diced Italian tomatoes
- 63grams Woolworths shaved parmesan
- 1/3 bunch basil
Description
Affordable, comforting and ready in 25 minutes, this easy meatball spaghetti will win hearts and stomachs on weeknights.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Bring a large saucepan of water to the boil. Cook spaghetti for 10 minutes or until al dente. Drain, reserving ¼ cup of pasta water.
Step 2 of 3
Meanwhile, heat oil in a large frying pan over medium to high heat. Add meatballs and cook for 10 minutes or until golden. Add tomato and reserved pasta water, and simmer for 10 minutes or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
Step 3 of 3
To serve, divide pasta among bowls. Top with meatballs, parmesan and basil. Season with freshly cracked black pepper and serve.
