  • 400grams Woolies creamed corn
  • 2 rashers bacon, roughly chopped
  • 1 small carrot, grated
  • 1/2 brown onion, finely diced
  • 2 clove garlic, finely chopped (fresh )
  • 1 1/4 cup Woolies extra tasty cheese, grated
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs, lightly forked together
  • 1 cup Woolies SR flour
  • sprinkle smokey paprika

Description

A delicious savoury slice that is lovely eaten hot or cold. It freezes well too.
Instruction tip
This mixture could be used in muffin tins also. Adjust cooking times to suit.

Method

Step 1 of 5

Gather all the ingredients and preheat oven to 170 °C fan.

Step 2 of 5

Place chopped bacon onto a couple of layers of paper towel evenly and cover with a piece of paper towel and microwave for approx 3 minutes at 1 minute intervals to check cooking. Remove and set aside to cool.

Step 3 of 5

Add all the ingredients to a bowl apart from 1/4 cup of grated cheese and paprika. Mix together until it is well combined.

Step 4 of 5

Turn mixture into a slice tin that is lined with baking paper. Spread the remaining cheese over the top and sprinkle with the smokey paprika.

Step 5 of 5

Place in preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes and golden brown. Enjoy.
