  • 1tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 6 Woolworths indulgent brioche fruit hot cross buns, halved
  • 450grams Woolworths smash beef burgers
  • 6 slices Woolworths cheese burger slices
  • 1/3 cup Macro Organic burger pickles
  • 1/2 small brown onion, very finely diced
  • 1/4 cup tomato ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Woolworths mild American mustard

Description

Indulge in the ultimate comfort food fusion – a cheeseburger hot cross bun, where the iconic spiced Easter bun meets the American favourite to deliver a flavour explosion in every bite.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Heat a large frying pan over medium heat. Add 1 tsp oil. Place buns in pan in batches, cut side-down, and cook for 1 minute or until toasted. Remove from pan and set aside.

Step 2 of 3

Add remaining oil to pan. Add beef patties to pan. Press down with a spatula to flatten slightly and sear. Cook for 4 minutes, flipping halfway, until browned.

Step 3 of 3

Top bun bases with a patty, cheese, pickles, onion, ketchup and mustard. Top with bun lids. Serve.
