- 1 lemon
- 500grams Woolworths raw peeled & deveined prawns
- 1/4 cup Macro extra virgin olive oil
- 1tablespoons Woolworths smoked paprika
- 2teaspoons Woolworths ground cumin
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/4 bunch basil, leaves picked
Description
Cajun prawns with fried basil makes an easy starter for any Easter menu and will delight with its vibrant flavours.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Zest lemon, then cut into wedges. Place zest, prawns, 11/2 tbs oil, paprika, cumin and garlic in a medium bowl. Mix well.
Step 2 of 3
Heat a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook prawns, in batches, for 4-5 minutes or until cooked and colour has changed. Transfer to a plate.
Step 3 of 3
Add remaining oil to pan. Add basil and cook for 1 minute until crisp. Pour over prawns on plate. Serve with lemon.
