  • 1 sheet Woolworths frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 200grams Thomas Dux triple cream brie
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 JAZZ apples, cored, thinly sliced
  • 20grams unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2teaspoons Woolworths ground cinnamon
  • 1tablespoons Woolworths maple syrup
  • 2 sprigs thyme, leaves picked
  • 100grams crackers

Description

Savour the creamy decadence of melted brie encased in a crispy, golden pastry crust, perfectly complemented by the sweet and tangy crunch of JAZZ™ apples. This air-fryer pastry-wrapped brie will certainly impress any cheese lover.

No cinnamon? Use ground allspice, ground nutmeg or smoked paprika instead.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Place pastry on a flat surface. Top with brie. Fold pastry over brie to enclose, trimming excess pastry if necessary. Place brie, seam-side down, on a plate lined with baking paper. Brush with egg and season well. Refrigerate for 20 minutes to chill.

Meanwhile, toss apple, butter, cinnamon and maple syrup in a large bowl.

Lightly grease air-fryer basket. Preheat air fryer to 180°C for 3 minutes. Place brie in air-fryer basket, then scatter sliced apple around. Air-fry for 15 minutes or until golden. Remove from air fryer and stand for 2 minutes. Top with apple and thyme. Serve with crackers.
