Once you’ve collected all your favourite Disney+ Ooshies, it’s time for the games to begin. Keep everyone entertained for hours and learn new facts about a range of Disney+ characters with these awesome activities.
1) Guess my Disney+ character
Gather the whole family and have everyone bring their Disney+ Ooshies. Sit in a circle and ask each family member to hide their Disney+ Ooshies behind their backs. Take turns giving clues. For example, describe the characters’ personality traits, iconic outfits or famous catchphrases. Continue playing until the identities of all the hidden Disney+ Ooshies have been guessed correctly. The person with the most correct characters wins!
LEVEL UP – Award extra points to players who correctly guess the character’s name, the film they’re from, the Disney+ universe (Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars) and the year the film was released.
2) Disney+ Ooshies™ in the wild
Get the kids exploring the great outdoors with this simple yet fun game. It can be played with any of the characters that are available to collect.
Challenge the kids to take a picture of their Disney+ Ooshies in each of the locations below. The first to complete the list wins!
- Inspired by the wonderful underwater world in The Little Mermaid, take a photo of your Ariel Ooshie submerged in water.
- Speed into the distance like Lightning McQueen and take a photo of your Disney+ Ooshies character on a pretend race track!
- Parents, pop a red cape on your kids so they can pretend to fly around the backyard just like Thor. Hold up your Disney+ Ooshies character and try to photograph it so that it looks like it's flying alongside the kids.
- Wait until the sun sets and the stars come out, and photograph one of your Star Wars Disney+ Ooshies with a star-lit backdrop that transports you to galaxies far, far away.
LEVEL UP – Get the kids to draw their very own Disney+ universe backdrop inspired by the character’s universe. They can then take a photo of the Disney+ Ooshies in front of it as the final challenge.
3) Disney+ Ooshies™ treasure hunt
Everyone loves a good old-fashioned treasure hunt, and this time the Disney+ Ooshies are the treasure. Collect all of the family’s Disney+ Ooshies and hide them around the house or backyard. Challenge the kids to hunt them down and help them out with clues such as:
- Find me in the place where the kids cuddle up at night – but first, make sure you turn on the light, or
- Check out the place where food is stored, finding your Disney+ Ooshies is the ultimate reward.
Hide the Disney+ Ooshies in places that correspond to the films they’re in to create an added layer of fun. For example, submerge Dory in water or hide Woody among other toys.
LEVEL UP – Put an extra creative spin on the treasure hunt by drawing a map of the house and leading the kids to the Disney+ Ooshies.
BONUS - Keep your Disney+ Ooshies near the TV. Then, when it’s time to watch some Disney+, randomly select a character and watch the movie it features in.
