Meet our Woolworths Bricks Farm agronomist

Hi, I’m a Woolworths Agronomist. I specialise in fruit and veg production, and work with growers to make sure fresh in-season fruit and veg is available in store for you.

I’m very lucky that my job allows me to be outdoors a lot while working with some of the best farmers and growers in Australia and travelling around the country to visit them.

Every day is different, and every agronomist’s job is different. We work closely with our Woolworths colleagues and our farmers to ensure customers have the right amount of seasonal fruit and veg in our stores.

Sometimes we visit their farms to see how their crops are growing and developing, and sometimes we even work together to bring exciting new fruit and veg varieties to stores.

We’re always collaborating with our growers to ensure the crops they grow are best suited to the area or region, and resilient to any potential natural disaster events such as flooding or drought. We also make sure natural resources such as water are being utilised to benefit the farm and environment.

We offer helpful guidance to fruit and veg buyers on growing areas, and provide weather and product safety information so they’re perfectly equipped to bring you the best fruit and veg.

One of the best parts of my job is knowing that we’re bringing the best quality fruit and veg to Australian families to enjoy.
