Terms & Conditions for Trade Promotions – Big Night In 2024
KEY TERMS
Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.
Details
Eligible Entrants
Entry is open to residents of Australian Capital Territory, South Australia, New South Wales, Queensland, Northern Territory, Tasmania, Western Australia and Victoria aged 18 years of age and over.
Entrants must be a Registered Cardholder of the Everyday Rewards Program to enter. “Registered Cardholder” means a holder of an Everyday Rewards card issued by the Promoter excluding holders of temporary Everyday Rewards cards.
Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, its related entities and any agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
How to enter
To enter, each Eligible Entrant must, during the Promotional Period:
- Purchase three (3) Participating Products in a single transaction from any Participating Store; and
- Prior to finalising the transaction, scan their Everyday Rewards Card at the participating store checkout or input their Everyday Rewards Card number during checkout on Participating store website or app (Qualifying Entry)
Each Qualifying Entry will automatically receive two (2) entries into the relevant Daily Prize Draw.
Bonus entries
- Everyday Rewards Member ‘Boost’ entry mechanic:
- One (1) bonus entry will be awarded to Eligible Entrants who have ‘Boosted’ the Big Night In offer in the Everyday Rewards App at least two (2) hours before purchasing three (3) Participating Products from a Participating Store.
- Everyday Rewards Members will need to ensure their registered Everyday Rewards card number is linked to their online account at checkout.
- The Bonus Boost entry will be added to the relevant Daily Prize Draw within seven (7) business days of the applicable Rewards Card Entry.
- Everyday Extra subscribers bonus entry mechanic:
- Three (3) bonus entries will be awarded to Eligible Entrants who have made at least one (1) valid Rewards Card Entry during the Promotional Period and who have subscribed to Everyday Extra before shopping in-store or online.
- Everyday Extra subscribers will need to ensure their registered Everyday Rewards Card number is linked to their online account at checkout.
- Everyday Extra subscriber bonus entry will be added to the relevant Daily Prize Draw within seven (7) business days of the applicable Rewards Card Entry.
“Participating Product”means any product from the participating brands, subject to any exclusions specifically noted, or any of the participating products, set out in the ‘Participating Brands/Products Schedule’ – available at the end of these terms and conditions and on the Promotion Website woolworths.com.au/BNI.
“Participating Store” means Woolworths supermarkets, MILKRUN and participating Woolworths Metro stores across Australia and Woolworths Online at woolworths.com.au. Purchases at other Woolworths Group outlets (including, but not limited to Everyday Market, BIG W, Metro60 or Ampol Woolworths MetroGo are not eligible for the promotion.
“Promotional Period” means the period between 00.01 local time (Sydney) on Wednesday 15 May 2024 and 23.59 local time (Sydney) on Tuesday 2 July 2024. “Non-Registered Cardholder” means someone who is not a Registered Everyday Rewards Cardholder or someone who is a holder of a temporary Rewards Card.
“Registered Cardholder” means a cardholder of an Everyday Rewards Card, where all mandatory cardholder information (including cardholder’s legal name) has been correctly completed in the Everyday Rewards Program database – cardholder is not a Registered Cardholder until confirmation has been issued by the Everyday Rewards Program; and
“Rewards Card” means an Everyday Rewards card issued by the Promoter as part of the Everyday Rewards Program whether in a plastic or electronic (virtual) form. Only Registered Cardholders are eligible to enter the Promotion via the Rewards Card Entry option. For the avoidance of doubt, Non-Registered Cardholders (including holders of temporary Rewards Cards) are not eligible to enter via the Rewards Card Entry option.
“Everyday Rewards App” means the Everyday Rewards Program application where members can view their rewards balance, browse specials and use or access and activate member benefits. “Everyday Rewards Program” means the Everyday Rewards loyalty program operated by the Woolworths Group. Further details of the Everyday Rewards Program (including terms and conditions of the program) are accessible at woolworthsrewards.com.au
Important note: all Eligible Entrants must retain their original purchase receipt or online invoice for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize. Purchase receipt(s) or invoice(s) must clearly specify the store of purchase (for in-store purchases) and the date of purchase on the receipt(s) or invoice(s)/online order confirmation must be during the Promotional Period and prior to entry.
**In accordance with Woolworths Online Terms & Conditions (accessible at woolworths.com.au/shop/discover/about-us/terms-and-conditions), all online transactions must be for a minimum spend of $50 (excluding delivery fees, bag fees or crate to bench fees) for delivery, and a minimum spend of $50 for pick up or Direct to Boot (excluding bag fees). Minimum spend requirement for online transactions excludes any tobacco/smoking products, liquor, gift cards (including iTunes), mobile recharge, Everyday Mobile (Woolworths Mobile), travel cards, tickets, cash outs, delivery charges (including Delivery Unlimited items), donations, Carpet Care, Pre-order Kiosks and purchases on a charge account. Amounts spent online on Participating Products will count towards the minimum online spend of $50.
Limits on Entry
Multiple entries are permitted, subject to the following:
- Rewards Card Entries: two (2) entries per Qualifying Entry;
- (b) a limit of five (5) Qualifying Entries per day applies (which equates to 10 entries per day into the relevant Daily Prize Draw for Rewards Card Entries)
The Promoter may, in its sole and absolute discretion, offer additional methods of entering into the Promotion during the Promotional Period. These offers may include the provision of offers through Everyday Rewards channels or bonus entries on certain weekends during the Promotion. If implemented, the Promoter will communicate such offers through electronic direct marketing and/or on its website.
Promotional Period
The period between 00.01 local time (Sydney) on Wednesday 15 May 2024 and 23.59 local time (Sydney) on Tuesday 2 July 2024.
Purchase of Participating Products must be made within the Promotional Period. For the avoidance of doubt, orders placed prior to or after the outlined delivery date and time of the Promotional Period with a delivery or pick up scheduled during the Promotional Period are not eligible for this promotion. Unless otherwise indicated, all times and dates specified are times and dates in Sydney, Australia which may be in the time zones AEST or AEDT depending on the date.
Draw Dates
There will be weekly Prize Draws. Weekly Prize Draws will take place at 11.00 local time (Sydney)AEST on the dates listed in the table below at Unit 6, 3 Central Avenue, Thornleigh, NSW 2120.The first 49 valid entries drawn will receive a prize:

Daily prize details
The first valid entry drawn in each Daily Prize Draw will win one prize pack valued at (AUD and RRP) $8,115.93 A total of 49 prize winners will be awarded with prizes.
Winners cannot pick and choose items. They must take the prize pack as presented in full.
Total RRP value of prize pool = $397,680.57. All prize values are correct as at 21.03.24 and are in Australian Dollars, but to the extent permitted by law, no responsibility is accepted by the Promoter for any variation in the value of the prize after that time.

Prize Limitations
Prize of One million (1,000,000) Everyday Rewards points:
- The prize of one million (1,000,000) Everyday Rewards points is not redeemable for cash, exchangeable or transferable. Everyday Rewards Terms and Conditions apply to this prize.
- The maximum permitted value of credit in an Everyday Rewards account at any time is 4,000 Everyday Rewards Dollars.
- One million (1,000,000) Everyday Rewards points will be loaded on to each winner’s Everyday Rewards Card in two (2) installments of 500,000 Rewards Points each. The first 500,000 Rewards Points installment will be loaded on to the nominated winner’s Everyday Rewards Card by no later than 4th August 2024 and the second 500,000 Everyday Rewards Points installment will be loaded on to the nominated winner’s Everyday Rewards Card by no later than 4th February 2025.
- If the prize winner has opted to convert their Everyday Rewards points to Qantas Points in the Everyday Rewards App, their points will accrue until the next Pay Out Date for Qantas Points as outlined in the Everyday Rewards Terms and Conditions.
- Winners will be notified by phone & email prior to points being loaded to their account.
Prizes in general:
- Gift Card terms and conditions apply in addition to these Terms and Conditions
- Colours, sizes and models may vary depending on availability.
- Each prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the prize as stated.
- Distribution to Australian addresses only.
- Prizes will be distributed to winners’ nominated addresses within 60 days after prize winner verification is confirmed and prize package is selected, subject to any processing or delivery delays.
- All taxes (excluding GST) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
- Prize nominations will be considered by the Promoter and determined in its sole discretion.
- All ancillary costs or accessories not expressly included with the Prize Package prize are the responsibility of the winners.
- Once the Prize has left the Prize Provider or Creata’s premises, the Prize Provider or Creata takes no responsibility for the Prize being damaged, delayed or lost in transit.
- The Prize Provider shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any Prize Pack except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including the Competition and Consumer Act).
- If any Prize (or any portion of a Prize) becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the Prize Provider’s reasonable control, then the Prize Provider will provide a comparable Prize (of similar categories to the Prizes) of equal or greater value to the original Prize instead, at the same Price to Creata.
Prize Delivery
Prizes will be delivered to winners within 28 business days of verification of winner. The prize will be delivered in Australia only.
Notification of Winners
Winners will be notified in writing by email (to the address linked to their Everyday Rewards account) within 14 days of the draw.
Winners agree to being notified either via phone call to the number linked to their
Everyday Rewards account, or in writing by email (via the email address linked to their
Everyday Rewards Card or input manual entry email address) within three (3) business
days of the applicable draw date.
Winners will be published online on the Promotion Website woolworths.com.au/BNI,
for a minimum 28 days, from the applicable ‘draw date’ specified in the table in the
‘Daily Prize Draws’ section above. Winners of a prize will also have their surname, first
initial and state of residence published in The Australian on the applicable ‘published
date’ specified in the table in the ‘Daily Prize Draws’ section above.
Second Chance Draw
- If any prize remains unclaimed after 25/09/2024, a Second Chance Draw will be held on 03/10/2024 at the same time and place as the original draws, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority.
- Second chance draw winners will be notified in writing by email within three (3) business days of the second chance draw (if applicable). Second chance draw winners will be published online on the Promotion Website woolworths.com.au/BNI from 07/10/2024. Any second chance draw winners will also have their name and address published in The Australian on 10/10/2024.

Further Details
- If consumers are required to upload a photograph to enter, entrants must adhere to the
following conditions:
- by submitting a photograph, entrants agree to the photograph being made available for public viewing;
- any person depicted in a photograph uploaded must be decently dressed and presented;
- all photographs are subject to the approval of the Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to vet all entries at any time and reserves the right to reasonably request the removal of any entries from any Platform or such websites at any time in its absolute discretion. However, the Promoter is not responsible for any photographs uploaded to any Platform (as defined in clause 13) or website and visitors to the site view it at their own risk;
- entrants must own the copyright in the photograph uploaded or be entitled and have permission to use the photograph in the manner contemplated by these terms, including use of the photograph for promotional purposes in accordance with clause 16;
- the entrant has the permission of each other person featured in the photograph, or, if any other person is under the age of 18, the permission of their parent or legal guardian, to enter the photograph in accordance with these terms and conditions, including consent to each condition in this clause 1; and
- entrants must notify each other person featured in the photograph, or, if any other person is under the age of 18, that person’s parent or legal guardian, of the Promoter’s privacy policy (available at ) and each person or parent or legal guardian (as the case may be) has agreed to that privacy policy
- If the winner of a prize is under 18 years of age, the prize will be awarded to winner’s parent or legal guardian.
- All ancillary costs including but not limited to insurance, taxes (excluding GST), meals, drinks, transport, transfers, spending money, fuel, oil and services costs, safety gear to comply with state and territory regulations, in-room charges and any and all other expenses incurred as a consequence of receiving the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
- Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into. In particular, prizes may not, without the prior consent of the Promoter and any applicable third party supplier of the prize (“Supplier”), be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via online auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If a prize is sold or used in breach of this condition, the Promoter or the Supplier may, acting reasonably, at their absolute discretion, withdraw the prize(s). Where a prize has been withdrawn in accordance with this clause, no refund, substitute or compensation will be offered and if the prize is a ticket, the winner and any person has purchased or otherwise bears that ticket will be refused entry.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches, theft or destruction, any cause beyond the Promoter’s control, or unauthorised access to or alteration of the promotion. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may (where necessary with the approval of the relevant lottery authority) modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the promotion. Further, the Promoter at its sole discretion may recommence this promotion under the same conditions.
- If any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any written directions from the various authorities.
- All reasonable attempts will be made to contact the winners. If a winner does not claim their prize by the Second Chance Draw date, their entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter may conduct the Second Chance Draw, subject to relevant regulatory authority instructions.
- If an entrant’s contact details change at any time between the date which they enter the promotion and the Second Chance Draw date, that entrant must notify the Promoter of their correct contact details immediately.
- The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of winners and any other information from entrants relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Upon receiving and reviewing the information to assess verification, the Promoter’s decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who provides false information, fails to provide information, is in breach of these conditions, provides entries that are offensive or otherwise inappropriate in the sole opinion of the Promoter, conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage or who is otherwise involved in any way in manipulating, interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion, or who has engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
- If consumers are required to purchase a product to enter, then it is a condition of the prize being awarded to the winner that the winner retain a clear copy of their original receipt and provide it to the Promoter as proof of a valid purchase to enter this promotion.
- Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, image and/or voice in the event that they are a winner in any media for a reasonable period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
- Entrants confirm and promise that their entry is original and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party. If the entry or any part of the entry is provided to the entrant by a third party, the entrants warrant that they have obtained the relevant copyright and other intellectual property rights permission to submit the entry for the purposes of this promotion. Further, entrants agree that the Promoter has an unrestricted, irrevocable, transferable, divisible right and licence to use and modify their entry (including but not limited to amending, editing, selecting, cropping, retouching, adding to or deleting from any part of the submitted entry) for the purposes of the Promoter's business including for promotional purposes without the payment of any further fee or compensation. If requested by the Promoter, the entrant agrees to sign any further documentation required by the Promoter to give effect to this arrangement. To the extent permitted by law, entrants unconditionally and irrevocably consent to any act or omission that would otherwise infringe any moral rights in their entry. Entrants agree to indemnify the Promoter, its associated agencies against all losses, damages, claims and costs by third parties arising out of, connected to or resulting from a breach of the warranty set out in this condition.
- If entry is via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, “Platform” means Facebook, Twitter or Instagram as applicable. Entrants acknowledge that use of the Platform is subject to the terms and conditions of that Platform. The Promoter is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any entrant as a result of the conduct of any of the Platforms, including the decision of any Platform to remove or not remove any photographs, except for liability which cannot be excluded by law. In particular, the thoughts and views expressed on each of the Platforms, are only the thoughts and views of the individual that posted them. They are not representative of the opinions of the Promoter, nor does the Promoter confirm, guarantee or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any post. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with any Platform. It is a condition of entry that each entrant grants a complete release to Facebook and Instagram from any claims that they now have or may have in the future which relate to or are incidental to this promotion.
