Description

A Valentine's Day treat that's as easy to make as it is to fall in love with, these candied strawberries are sure to steal hearts.

Method

Step 1 of 2

Line a baking tray with baking paper. Combine sugar, glucose syrup and ¼ cup water in a medium saucepan over medium to high heat. Cook for 12-14 minutes or until syrup turns golden brown. Remove from heat. Allow bubbles to subside.

Step 2 of 2

Using a small sharp knife, cut a small piece out of tops of strawberries to create a heart shape. Thread strawberries onto 6 skewers. Dip skewers, in batches, to coat strawberries in toffee. Transfer to the prepared tray. Stand for 10 minutes or until set. Serve.
