  • 180grams Lemnos Haloumi Cyprus Style
  • 2teaspoons sunflower oil
  • 2tablespoons sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1/2teaspoons sesame seeds, toasted
  • 1/4 punnet chives, thinly sliced

Description

Delight tastebuds with this tantalising sweet chilli Lemnos Haloumi Cyprus Style grilled to perfection and guaranteed to wow a crowd.

Method

Step 1 of 3

Using a knife, cut haloumi in half horizontally to make 2 squares. Cut each square into quarters.

Step 2 of 3

Heat sunflower oil in a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Cook haloumi, in batches, for 2-3 minutes each side or until golden brown. Transfer to a shallow bowl.

Step 3 of 3

Whisk sweet chilli sauce, lime juice and sesame oil in a jug. Drizzle haloumi with one-quarter of the sweet chilli mixture. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and chives. Serve with remaining sweet chilli mixture.
