- 3 cups white grapes
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2tablespoons Woolworths white balsamic vinegar
- 1/2teaspoons Woolworths ground sumac
- 1teaspoons dried thyme
- 125grams buffalo mozzarella
- 1/2 bunch basil, leaves picked
- 12 pre-soaked bamboo skewers
Description
Serve up these fast and affordable grilled grape skewers for a showstopping appetiser or side. The natural sweetness of the grapes pairs perfectly with creamy mozzarella, all drizzled in a sumac and thyme-infused dressing.
Method
Step 1 of 2
Preheat a chargrill pan over medium-high heat. Place grapes and 1 tbs oil in a bowl. Toss to coat. Thread grapes onto skewers. Add to pan and cook, in batches, for 1-2 minutes each side or until browned.
Step 2 of 2
Combine vinegar, sumac, half of the thyme and remaining oil in a bowl. To serve, transfer skewers to a plate with mozzarella. Sprinkle with remaining thyme. Drizzle with dressing and top with basil. Serve.
