- 2 cups rice flakes
- 2 cups Woolworths Greek-style natural yoghurt
- 1/3 cup milk powder
- 1tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 mango, sliced
- 8 Woolworths soft & juicy pitted dates, chopped
- 1/3 cup pistachio kernels, toasted, chopped
- 1/3 cup Woolworths slivered almonds, toasted
- 1/3 cup coconut flakes, toasted
- 2tablespoons Macro date syrup
Description
The traditional Bangladeshi dish of flattened rice and yoghurt offers a refreshing contrast of textures and flavours that will revitalise during Ramadan.
Method
Step 1 of 2
Place rice flakes in a sieve. Rinse under cold water until water runs clear. Drain well and place in a large glass bowl. Add yoghurt, milk powder, sugar and 1/2 cup water. Mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes or until creamy.
Step 2 of 2
Stir in milk to loosen mixture, then spoon rice into bowls. Top with mango, dates, pistachio, almonds and coconut. Serve drizzled with syrup.
