- 1 star anise
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 cups dried chilli flakes
- 1/3 cups salted roasted peanuts, roughly chopped
- 2tablespoons Woolworths sesame seeds, toasted
- 2teaspoons caster sugar
- 1teaspoons soy sauce

Description
A tantalising condiment, this chilli crunch oil delivers the perfect balance of heat, crunch and umami in every delicious drizzle.
Method
Step 1 of 3
Place oil, garlic, star anise and cinnamon stick in a medium saucepan over a low heat. Bring to a simmer, but do not boil. Stir for 3-4 minutes or until the garlic is golden brown. Remove from heat.
Step 2 of 3
Add chilli flakes, peanuts, sesame seeds and sugar to the hot oil in the saucepan.
Step 3 of 3
Add soy sauce and stir to combine. Set aside for 30 minutes or until cooled to room temperature. Pour into a jar and store in the fridge until ready to use.
