    Our most famous invention is soft-eating liquorice that we invented in a small factory under the iconic arches of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

    Australia's sweetest outlaw

    Darrell Lea's great grandfather's, uncle's, sister's former blacksmith was a rather sub-par bushranger who was hopeless at maths.

    One particular day, after (once again) miscounting his bullets, he fashioned his own from the Liquorice he used to feed his horse, Tall Steve. Hence his nickname 'The Delicious Bandit'. As to why covered them in chocolate first, we're not too (but well done all the same, goods sir).

    Liquorice (55%) [Molasses, Wheat Flour, Wheat Glucose Syrup, Cane Sugar, Colour (150c), Vegetable Fat, Liquorice Extract, Salt, Emulsifier (471), Flavour], Milk chocolate (45%) [Cane Sugar, Milk Solids, Cocoa Butter, Cocoa Mass, Emulsifiers (Soy Lecithin, 476), Flavour], Glazing Agents (553, 904, 1400). Milk Chocolate Contains Cocoa Solids Minimum 28% And Milk Solids Minimum 18%.
