    TOTALCARE Matt Breaker allows for pain free removal of mats, stubborn knots and tangles, even in the hardest to reach areas. Usage directions: Part your pet's coat into a section around the mat or stubborn knot. Gently cut the mat or knot using blade side and then rotate to comb side to remove an excess loose hair. Warning: Even though blades are protected, please use with care. The TOTALCARE Stubborn Knot Remover forms part of step 1 in the TOTALCARE 3 step grooming process, Preparation. It is important to comb or brush your pet to remove any knots and tangles prior to bathing. This allows for all loose hair, dirt and debris to be removed from the coat, and minimizes any matting that may occur. Grooming your pet prior to bathing can also help to calm your pet so that the bathing process is more enjoyable for both of you.

    Before using the PURINA TOTAL CARE Stubborn Knot Remover ensure you part your dog's coat into sections around the matted fur or knot. Use the shedding blade to gently cut through the knot and the comb to remove any excess loose hair you may have after removing the knot.
