    Ensure you place a sheet of paper under your pet before using the flea comb so it is easy to see and destroy any fleas combed out. Always start with the back legs and the bottom of your pet's back and systematically work forwards in the direction of the coat. When you spot any fleas in the comb or on the paper immediately drown them in soapy water or insecticide.
