- From the seed of the grape comes a special oil, appreciated throughout the Mediterranean for its versatility and nutrition value. Grapeseed oil is a natural source of Vitamin E, an important antioxidant and high in polyunsaturated fats and Omega 6 (Linoleic acid). Grapeseed oil, low in saturated fats and without cholesterol, contains monounsaturated fats and also plant sterols which, as scientific literature has shown, can assist in reducing cholesterol absorption. Its subtle flavour and delicate aroma make Azalea Grapeseed a great choice for salad dressings, marinades and infused oil, while its high smoke point (225°C) makes it ideal for shallow or deep frying, grilling, baking and barbequing.
