    Mortein Rat Kill is a convenient and effective solution for the control of rats and mice. Simply throw the ready-to-use sachets into hard to reach places for effective control. Rats and mice can smell the bait inside the sachet and will chew through the sachet to consume the poison. Less than 1 gram is required to kill a mouse and 4-6 grams will kill a rat. Mortein Rat Kill Throwpacks contain a human taste deterrent (bittering agent) to help prevent accidental consumption by children.

    NOTE TO PHYSICIANS AND VETERINARIANS: The active constituent of Mortein Rat Kill (Brodifacoum) is a long lasting anticoagulant chemical, which if accidentally taken by humans, domestic animals or pets, can reduce the clotting power of blood and hemorrhage may result. Vitamin K1 (Phytomenadione) should be administered urgently by medical, appropriate para-medical personnel or veterinarians. If administered intravenously the injection must be given slowly.
