We understand that drinking great coffee is as important as being happy with the coffee gear you purchase to make it! In order to give you peace of mind when shopping with us we offer a hassle free returns and exchange policy so you can return any purchased item within 14 days from the date of your order. We can provide an Alternative Brewing store credit, refund or exchange for another item, where the returned item is subject to the following conditions:
The item is returned within 14 days from the date of your order.
Presents 'as new' in appearance, is unused and shows no signs of use, wear and tear or damage. We cannot accept a return for items that have been used.
Be packaged in its original undamaged packaging with all product tickets and tags.
The item's original packaging is not marked or used as the outer layer of packaging for transport. Please ensure you do not attach anything to the outside of the original packaging.
Alternative Brewing is not responsible for any freight charges on returned items unless the item(s) being returned have arrived damaged or faulty in which case we will send a pre-paid return label to send the item back.
Items being returned must include a copy of the receipt/invoice for the order.
We do not accept returns on any machines, electrical parts, special order items, gift cards, apparel, books, posters and DVDs. So please choose wisely.
Items returned with a value >$400 will be eligible for a store credit or exchange only.
All returns must be authorised by Alternative Brewing before sending the item back to us. Please contact one of our friendly Alternative Brewing Team Members for instructions to get the ball rolling and start the return process.
The Baratza Sette 270 coffee grinder is one for filter coffee and espresso enthusiasts alike. Breaking away from the former standard, this grinder has a fixed inner burr and a rotating outer burr. Unlike every grinder of its size, the Sette's revolutionary 40mm steel conical burrs cut grinding time in half, producing 3.5g to 5.5g per second.
Developed over 8 years, the burrs will remain sharp and aligned for many years, as well as retain less ground coffee than competing grinders. Also appearing for the first time from is a gear speed reduction of 19:1 with the grinder's new super-efficient gear drive system.
The Sette 270's 30 grind settings can produce coffee grounds for espresso, as well as Chemex. If you're brewing espresso and want to get it just right, the grinder provides 9 micro-adjustment settings to help you achieve that perfect grind size.
The LED display allows users to program 3 dosing settings, down to a tenth of a second. You can even grind right into your coffee brewer, thanks to the convertible holding mechanism.
