Eggs
We'd like to apologise that eggs are currently in limited supply. We understand how frustrating this can be, and we want to assure you that we’re doing everything we can to get things back to normal as quickly as possible.
Last year’s avian influenza outbreak closed several egg facilities and impacted the availability of eggs across Australia due to the considerable time it takes to respond and recover from these events. We’re working hard with our egg producers to improve supply. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
Rest assured, it is safe to eat properly handled and cooked eggs and egg products. We continue to receive egg deliveries but, to help ensure as many people as possible have access to supply, purchase limits apply. Cook with what’s in season
Apple grower, NSW
Ian Cathels of Ardrossan Nurseries has been an apple grower since he left school 37 years ago. It’s often a seven-day-a-week job with 6am starts, and Ian believes that when you’re a farmer “...you never know what’s around the corner. The weather plays such a huge role in farming and so when the weather is kind, farming is such a joy”.
